Medical Cannabis Reform

During 2019 the Ministry of Health of Israel declared that the Medical Cannabis market is about to through changes. With the intent to advance the country into the challenges the worldwide Cannabis market has been facing in the recent years, the MOH (Ministry of Health) developed a reform for the Medical Cannabis local market. This reform has not been accepted by the Medical Cannabis patients already using cannabis for year before, in order to treat their medical conditions, so far with great success. But now, with the new reform, Cannabis strains are missing from the pharmacies and dispensaries, some patients monthly dosages were cut in half and even this is hard to find in the pharmacies, so patients turn into the black market to get their relief.
This set of portraits is about the Medical Cannabis patients. Living daily with their illness, usually a malignant disease such as cancer, chronic pain or PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder) that force them to stay home, and rely on Medical Cannabis to go through another day alive.
